Smack - Boat 12'

OUR REF. † AYB00804

GENERAL The fibreglass hull was made using a mould derived from an original clinker-built Smack’s Boat dating back to about 1955 and moulded by Brian Kennel. Master shipwright Alan Williams of St Osyth, Essex fitted her out traditionally with wooden gunwales, thwarts, blocks, etc. There are built-in buoyancy tanks fore and aft plus foam buoyancy under the side seats. The lifting centre plate and lifting rudder blade are profiled GRP.
Most Smack’s Boats are built with just a mainsail. Tango also has a bowsprit and a self-furling jib. She will sail well with just the mainsail but she sails beautifully with main and jib.
She is lightly used and in lovely condition. See for more information on the Smack Boat.
